Update Post –> Drip Settings – Reset to default
—
by
Hello itthinx team,
generally Drip Content Plugin works fine and has all specifications we need.
But unfortunately handling is a bit tricky:
-> After publishing the post the Drip Content selection fields are empty. So we have to document all posts manually besides WordPress. That make it difficult handle content we will create.
Do you think about including this in a future version of the plugin?
-> After testing, we found out that updating (a before published) post leads to a reset of the Drip settings. So we have to check, control and update all single users.
We will have posts updates regularly, is there a work around or simple to do, I do not find in the documentation?
Thanks for your reply in advance.
Best Regards
Ilka

Hi Ilka,
Welcome to our support forum and sorry to hear that you have issues with Drip content settings.
Please correct me if I’m wrong but what you are describing here is that basically dripping works, but you can’t see the dripping settings because they return to default after publishing or saving your post?
Even though this sounds like a caching issue, do you use a caching plugin on your install? I’m mentioning this because normally the selected options for content dripping should be there even after saving/publishing a post. However, it is possible that these settings are affected by a third party factor like caching.
Also, while saving a post, is there anything wrong logged in your browser console or debug.log file? The former can be found if you open your browser developer tools and switch to Console right before saving the post. The latter requires you to enable WP debugging and once you try setting the content dripping options and save, visit wp-content/debug.log file and check for issues.
You are more than welcome to share your findings with us, it will help us inspect this case in a thorough way.
Kind regards,
George
