Tracking all Affiliate Hits

I have what could be a simple solution, but I’m unable to find it. When testing the affiliate links (using Affiliate Pro), the initial hit is tracked but if a user clicks to another page/post/product, that hit does not show up in the reporting area. How are the subsequent hits tracked? Did I miss something in settings or options?

    Hi,
    hits are recorded when the link has the parameter. So if an user visits:
    http://www.yourdomain.com/?affiliate=1
    http://www.yourdomain.com/shop
    http://www.yourdomain.com/a-page
    only the first hit is saved.
