Tiered Commission Question
—
by
Hi Guys,
I sent this last week and haven’t had a response can you plase help.
TIERED COMMISSION
What we need it to do:
All affiliates receive 20% commission
If an affiliates refers a sub affiliate we want to referrer to receive 5% in perpetuity of the sub affiliates comission amount. The sub affiliate will receive the regular 20%
Question: How can Affiliate A refer affiliate B ?
I thought I had it set up correctly adding tier 1 as 0.05, however, when a new affiliate signs up through the portal here l http://www.stepandgo.com/affiliate-area/ commission is being granted to other random affiliates (who haven’t signed anyone up.)
Question: $ 0.04c. Why is this happening? I tried to turn it off and its still happening. What do I need to do to make it work properly?
PAYING OUT COMMISSION AND REPORTS
We want to do a monthly report and pay affiliates if they get over $50 commission. There will end up being thousands of affiliates so would like to do this in bulk.
It seems to show only individual sales e.g $2.97 commission then say $3.21 commission but we want to see the total for each affiliate so it would be $6.81
Questions:
1. Is there a way to show JoeBlogs commission for Aug1-Aug31 in total of $6.81 and not have to add each sale individually? How do you do it?
2. Is there a way to pay each person a check rather than paypal? What would be the best way?
3. Is there a way to auto set up an email report so affiliates know once what amount their monthly payment is and when it has been paid

One response to “Tiered Commission Question”
Hi Kelly,
Tiered commissions:
– Under Affiliates > Settings use Referral Rate and indicate 0.2.
– Under Affiliates > Tiers check Enable multi-tiered referrals, indicate 1 under Levels, under Level Rates indicate 0.05 for Level 1.
To refer an affiliate, the affiliate-to-be will visit Affiliate A’s link and sign up as an affiliate. The system recognizes that the new affiliate was referred by A.
Regarding the monthly totals, please review Payments in the documentation where the Affiliates > Totals section is explained. Also see this page and its subsections and especially the section on Shortcodes on how to present affiliates with reports. The system is designed to have these ready for them online rather than sending out emails.
