Set flat rate commissions at product level
—
by
Just installed Affiliates Pro and its WooCommerce add-in, want to set flat rate affiliate commissions at the product level in WooCommerce
eg:
Product A has variations $100 and $150 I need the affiliate commission to be $20 for both variations
Product B has variations $110 and $170 I need the affiliate commission to be $20 for both variations
can I do this, do I need to buy the Affiliate Products add-in too?

I’m still struggling with this.
I set a default commission rate of 20 (intending this to be a £20 flat commission payment) and did a test transaction for a product costing £59 and it’s saying the commission is £1180 so it’s using the number 20 as a rate multiplier (20 x 59 = 1180) instead of understanding the 20 as £20 flat.
Hi James,
Do you have the new plugin activated?
If the problem persists, you can send me dashboard admin access to antonio[at]itthinx[dot]com indicating this topic, and I’ll have a look at this.

Thanks! I’ve grabbed that plugin from GitHub, can you provide brief install instructions?
Hi,
simply download and install the plugin from the ‘Plugins’ section.
If you have installed Affiliates Pro/Enterprise, the Woocommerce Integration and this plugin, then you don’t need anything.
Remember that “you need to set different commissions per product, the normal settings is select ‘Enable product referral rates’ in Affiliates->Woocommerce, setting a default rate. Then in Affiliates->Settings:Commissions select ‘Referral amount method’ and ‘Affiliates_WC_Method::product_rates’.
This is the default settings, but this gets rates, not fixed amounts.”
Kind regards,
Antonio B.
Hi James,
If you need to set different commissions per product, the normal settings is select ‘Enable product referral rates’ in Affiliates->Woocommerce, setting a default rate. Then in Affiliates->Settings:Commissions select ‘Referral amount method’ and ‘Affiliates_WC_Method::product_rates’.
This is the default settings, but this gets rates, not fixed amounts.
With the Affiliates Custom Method:: Product Amount plugin if you set “4” in a product rate, this uses this value as fixed amount not as a rate.
Kind Regards,
