Separate commission for datafeedr affiliates

Hi,

I am using the enterprise version of your software. Is it possible to set a different commission amount based on the products sold by a certain supplier.

Example: If Nike pay 10% commission and Adidas pay 15% commission then I would like to set a tiered commission plan where my affiliates earn a % of the commission for products sold by one brand brand but a different commission amount for products sold by another brand. Is this possible?

Also, I have setup 5 tiers for most of the products in my store however, there are some products where the markup is lower and so I’d like to setup just 2 tiers for certain products. Is this possible and if so, how?

Thanks
Chris

  1. Hi Chris,

The settings seem to be correct.
What you expect to get is the following when Mens Black product is bought on a referred sale:
Assume that this product costs 100:
    1. OR will get 16
    2. OR’s referrer will get 50
    3. OR referrer’s referrer will get 25

As for the documentation I’m quoting parts from the shared links:

Specific Rates for Products and other Entities
You may have noticed that the form updates once you have selected the integration. This will allow you to select a specific Object or Term which allow to further restrict to what the rate applies to.

Continuing with the previous examples, if we wanted to grant a fixed amount on one particular form, we can simply select it as the Object:
    https://docs.itthinx.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/11/Affiliates-Rates-Integration-specific-fixed-rate-on-object-example.png
Let’s take it a step further and create a rate that is limited to a specific product on which we grant 30% commissions:
    We have used this configuration:
    https://docs.itthinx.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/11/Affiliates-Rates-Integration-specific-WooCommerce-30-product-rate.png
Type : Rate – This will make the commission proportional to the purchased product.
Value : 0.30 – This reflects our 30% commission for the product.
Integration : WooCommerce – We have selected the integration so that we can select our product.
Object : Here we have selected the “Test” product for which the 30% commission is granted.

Adding to that the tiered commission levels explained in the other link, or in the screenshot we share:
    https://docs.itthinx.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/02/level_rates.png

And you have the whole setup for your specific rates.

    Kind regards,
    George

    Hi George,

Thank you for reaching out. I will be more than happy to renew my licence as long as i can get the software to achieve what I need. The link posted doesn’t seem to mention tiers and rates for products so I am still confused as to how i can achieve my objective.

I have uploaded a screenshot (https://imageupload.io/IoPIN7scFkfJidk) of my current settings and i would be grateful if you can take a look for me please. I have created six levels for all other products in my store however, there is one particular product that i would like to pay my affiliates a higher rate with and apply just 2 tiers. As you can see from the image, i have added a rate for a single product and added tiers 1 & 2 however, it seems that when a sale is made for this product, the system is referring to the commission splits for the 6 levels and not the commission split for the 2 tiers i have set for this single product.

Please help because this is driving me crazy!

    All the best
    Chris

  3. Hi Chris,

As long as the supplier can be retrieved by the order or the order item(s), you should use a Formula rate and also the filter hook affiliates_formula_computer_variables. This way you can adjust the commission rate within the filter callback function.

As for tiered rates on products, please have a look at the documentation on Rates. What you are looking for is possible using rates for products and tiers.

Please also note that your Affiliates Enterprise license has expired and in order to re-gain access to support and plugin updates, you need to renew it, by buying the plugin again.

    Kind regards,
    George
