S2 member ongoing commissions for memberships

Hi,

A feature that really appealed to me with this plugin was the ongoing commissions for memberships with the S2 member plugin. I want affiliates to be able to receive a monthly commission from an ongoing subscription.

I’m just wondering how I can check this works for a site that I’ve built rather than waiting for a month to click over? I’ve just tried to test it with a daily membership instead of a monthly option and it has not worked in tracking the commission for the second day.

    Hi Matthew,

    To grant referrals on recurring payments when the membership was initially referred by an affiliate, it would require the option to be enabled under Affiliates > s2Member > Maintaining subscription referrals > [X] Maintain subscription referrals for the initial affiliate. Also the Limit maintaining subscription referrals to: should be adjusted accordingly. Assuming that you have these settings as indicated and that when the member signed up initially the referral was credited to an affiliate, the referrals for the remaining recurring payments should also be credited to that affiliate.

    If these settings are ok, then it would be good to see if you can enable debugging and check if there is anything ‘odd’ in the log file wp-content/debug.log.

    Have you checked that there is enough memory for PHP assigned and any indications in s2’s log files under s2Member > Log Files (Debug) ?

    Also it’s important to make sure that the notification URLs are adjusted (if possible use the default setting [X] Auto-adjust payment notification URLs).
