Reset Permissions for Article in database

Hello, im getting “Sorry, you are not allowed to edit this item.” while trying to edit an article (with Admin user).

Can someone explain how to edit/reset Groups permissions in the database?

    Hi Marco,

    Please review your setting in Groups > Options under Permissions section. Make sure that the Administrator has all the permissions activated. Alternatively, add another temp admin account, login and try again. If the issue persists for the temp admin as well, then it’s a permission issue.
    If after setting privileges you still get that issue, you can remove the restriction from the database. It can be found in wp_postmeta table and the meta_key is groups-read.
    I would strongly recommend you to keep a backup of your database just in case something goes wrong when editing the postmeta table.
