I am setting up my affiliates manually. Is there a way I can send the registration welcome email to the affiliate?

    Hi Ben,

    The process to add affiliates with user accounts manually would involve the following steps:

    1. Create a user account for the affiliate under Users > Add New. On user creation, you have the option to have the password sent by checking Send Password? – as the registration is done through this section and not the affiliate registration form, the standard WordPress welcome email will be sent to the new affiliate.
    2. Create the new affiliate under Affiliates > Manage Affiliates and indicate the username from the previous step so that the affiliate account and the user account are related.
    3. As the automatic notification from the normal affiliate registration process isn’t available, you have the option to manually send an email to your new affiliate indicating relevant points such as the link to the affiliate area.

    I hope that helps to clarify it, as you can see, the manual way also involves sending an extra email to the affiliate.
