Renaming “affiliates”

is there a simple method to rename singular and plural “affiliates” across the system to a custom word like “referrer/s”

I’d like that then to show up everywhere “affiliate/s” was being used prior

    Hi Uwe,

    The simplest method would be at least for the front-end to use a customised translation file.
    However, you need to keep a local copy of that file and whenever you update Affiliates plugin you should replace the default one with your one. Other than this, you would need to modify core plugin files which is not recommended for security and integrity reasons.
