Registration Problem

I have Affiliate Enterprise and one Affiliate wants to register but he keeps getting rejected with two error messages.
1. Says the User name is already registered please choose another one,
2. It says the email is already registered please choose another one,
But the person has never registered as ab Affiliate before but he is a registered User as a customer)
I wish you guys had better live chat support because this method really doesn’t satisfy me at all.

    Hello there,
    Sorry to hear about the troubles you’re having 🙁

    If a user is already registered on your site, he needs to visit the Affiliate Area while logged in, so he could be made an affiliate. There is no need to create another account and hence the errors displayed.
