Registration Form(s) customization.
—
by
Dear Sirs,
i am registered buyer of Affiliates Pro as well as Gravity Forms Integration
Service Key: xxxx
I have created Affiliated Registration using two methods:
1) In “Affiliate Area: using the Plugin shortcode: Here is the page: http://bellwethercapitalmanagement.com/affiliate-area/
I would like to make this form smaller and more compact. In other words, to customize for size and aesthetic. How can i do this?
2) By using Gravity Forms along with your Gravity Forms integration: Here is the page: http://bellwethercapitalmanagement.com/affiliate-registration/
As you can see, because i have built this form In Gravity forms, I have been able to customize size and layout.
However, these form submissions do not seem to popular the affillate register nor provide notifications.
Can you please provide your best advice on how to proceed? What is preferred method? For you convenience, I am providing you WordPress Credentials for site;
Login URL: http://bellwethercapitalmanagement.com/wp-admin
username: itthinx
password: xxx
Thank you,

When an affiliate registers through the registration form, he is recorded as any other user on your site.

Question: Are Affilates a specific type of “User” within WordPress? Do they need to be set up adccordoingly?
Please go to your Dashboard and under Forms > User Registration and add a new form.
Select Create User and then select the name of the form you use for affiliate registrations, meaning the one you created in Gravity Forms. Save the settings and try registering an affiliate.
Cheers,
George
I have installed bot Gravity Forms User Registration and Gravity Form Affiliates Integrations.
However, I am confused as to why I need both?
Can you please assist by detailing the configuration required so the Affiliates form I have created in Gravity Forms here: http://bellwethercapitalmanagement.com/affiliate-registration/
has the same functionality as the form that is created by plugin in Affilates Area,
Hi Aidan,
Thanks for sharing all that info. I have deleted your Service Key and password for your own safety because topics are public.
Please note that if you have installed and activated Gravity Forms’ User Registration Add-On, you can set a form to be used as a registration form, which applies for new affiliates registrations as well.
Give it a try and let me know if this does the trick.
Your other option would be to modify the css styling of affiliates registration form, if you are familiar with CSS.
Kind regards,
George.
