registration form and notification email
—
by
I have two issues:
a) registration form: I have enabled additional registration attributes, e.g., city, address, etc. However, after someone registers fill all the required information, this information doesn’t appear in the backend when reviewing an application. The idea was for us to use this additional information as part of the review process. However, when I went to the affiliate profile page, and added the information again and clicked ‘save’ the information appeared in the backend. I would appreciate if you can check why this information doesn’t appear the first time the application is received.
b) I have edited all the notification emails: however, the e-mail regarding ‘application pending/being reviewed’ was not sent to the customer. The customer received e-mail only after the application as approved. Kindly advise how to make this happen. in addition, is it possible to change the email address from which notifications are sent to applicants. i.e., instead of using the admin email, we use another email address that we have set up? In our case, we have set up a dedicated email address for the affiliate program.

Dear Eugen, please note the following:
1) I have already enabled all columns, but the information is not reflected.
2) Regarding email notification, the issue is not with regards to ‘referral emails’ the issue relates to the first notification when a user registers and the application is pending, ideally they should receive an email notifying them their application is pending and is being reviewed. I have tested this and it is not working.
Hi there Neema,
Good afternoon. I trust you are well and safe!
Thank you so much for the clarification.
Please can you share admin login details so I can take a closer look at this for you? It would also help a ton if you can also enable WordPress debugging on the site and share the debug.log file with me.
For security reasons, please send login credentials here; eugen [at] itthinx [dot] com and not in the comments.
If you are not familiar with WordPress debugging, here’s how to go about it:
In your site’s wp-config.php (this file is located in the root folder of your site) enable WordPress debugging by adding these lines:
define( ‘WP_DEBUG’, true );
define( ‘WP_DEBUG_LOG’, true );
define( ‘WP_DEBUG_DISPLAY’, false );
This will log any PHP notices, warnings, and errors to the log file. The log file typically resides in wp-content/debug.log.
Once again, thank you for using our Affiliates system and I remain eager to help resolve this issue for you.
STAY SAFE and I wish you a very fine and productive day ahead!
Best,
Eugen.

Good morning. I trust you are well and safe!
Thank you so much for reaching out and for using our affiliate system.
With regards to the first inquiry, you can view the additional attributes by enabling them in the Columns section. To do this, please:
* Navigate to Affiliates > Manage Affiliates
* In the Columns section, check the Address, City and any other fields you would want displayed.
With regards to your inquiry on email notifications, please:
* Navigate to Affiliates > Notifications
* Scroll down to the Referrals section and ensure the Pending option is checked.
And lastly, to change the email address used, please:
* Navigate to Affiliates > Notifications
* Click on the Administrator tab
* Scroll down to the Referrals section and update the Administrator Email Address field with the dedicated email you have for the affiliate program.
I remain available if you have any further inquiries.
STAY SAFE and I wish you a very fine and productive day ahead!
Best,
Eugen.
