Refferal

Affiliates are not been awarded commission for referring new affiliates.

Kindly put me through the process to achieve this.

    Hi Oladunni,

    If you are referring to Base amount and Amount then this is correct. As per each option description, Base amount will be multiplied by an applicable Rate, while Amount is the commission that will be granted. Please make sure to have a look at the option descriptions but also in the documentation pages I’ve shared, all these options are described in detail.

    As for the Direct, when no affiliate is applicable, then the Direct is granted with a commission. You can disable the option Store direct referrals in Affiliates > Settings > Referrals(tab). Reference: https://docs.itthinx.com/document/affiliates-pro/setup/settings/referrals/

    Regarding Paid and Unpaid referrals, you can change this status in Affiliates > Totals. On this view you can filter the referrals by the desired values and then mark the resulting referrals as Paid by hitting the Close Referrals button.     I just noticed that the affiliates are credited under referral link in the ‘Reference Amount’ box rather than in the ‘Amount’ box .

    So its not showing in the affiliates account until i input it manually in the “Amount’ box

    Also after inputing manually in the amout box it shows in the affiliate dashboard as earning but unpaid.

    How can it be automatic to credit affiliate like the sale of product commission is credited automatically.

    How can the status reflect paid after paying the affiliate.

    I have done both as described above. When an affiliate link is used it gives commission of 0.00

    And when people join direct it gives the commission but is recorded as direct.

    Hi Oladunni,

    For such referrals to be tracked by Affiliates Pro, there are two parts involved.
    The first one is the User Registration integration found in Affiliates > User Registration which should be enabled and a commission amount must be set. More info on this part is also described in the respective documentation, https://docs.itthinx.com/document/affiliates-pro/user-registration/
    The second one is the process needed to generate such a referral. A visitor must be referred on your site, ie by following an active affiliates link and then register as a new affiliate using the registration form.
