Referrer: How to see sales?
—
by
Hello everybody,
yesterday I bought the Enterprise version of Affiliate, installed all the necessary and mandatory plugins.
I have sales contacts in Spain, Portugal and France, even if the sales contacts use discount codes created by me, their percentage is valid on the full cost of the product, I tried it with a 100% discount, but the test contact , his percentage is not charged and, therefore, he does not see the sale on the earnings page, but only sees the traffic created.
Is it possible to fix this?
I need to show the referent his sales, how can I do it?
Can you help me?

Hey Carlo,
Thank you very much for your kind feedback, this gives us an extra motivation to continue doing our best and keep the Affiliates plugin as useful as possible.
Wish you all the best with your project.
Kind regards,
George
Hey Carlo, no worries as long as your site is working as it should.
As for the referral URL, I don’t think that it would make any difference in SEO one way or another, but perhaps you could try both and check if there’s indeed any difference. IMO it’s more important to take into account where do you prefer your customers to land – product page or category. Can you please give a brief description of your affiliate marketing flow, in case I’m missing something important?
Kind regards,
George
I think I will adopt the system of building the page with the product referral links towards the main site woocommerce, lighten the subdomains and upgrade the main site server,
doing the duplications for Portugal, France, Germany, UK sites.
At the moment only the Italian site is working with 14K visitors/month, 11 keywords surveyed and Google average position 10th place since 7 December 2022. I will have to increase the advertising budget x 6 for Social…
Anyway congratulations for your Plugin, 100 times better than Candy, really light and very easy to learn, just a minimum of attention and you get to solve all the problems that may arise during installation.
Best Regards
Carlo
Hi Carlo,
What errors did you get when the site crashed? Was there anything logged in your debug.log file?
If you prefer we may also have a look at your Dashboard and help you completing your setup, once you provide temp admin access to george at itthinx dot com. For our session it would also be useful if you enable WP Debugging.
To enable debugging, edit your wp-config.php file and replace this line:
define( ‘WP_DEBUG’, false );
with these lines:
define( ‘WP_DEBUG’, true );
define( ‘WP_DEBUG_LOG’, true );
define( ‘WP_DEBUG_DISPLAY’, false );
All logs will be stored in your site’s installation folder under wp-content/debug.log file.
The MD5 codes appear once you have enabled the Links column under Affiliates > Manage Affiliates. The desired columns appear right above the list of your affiliates. Furthermore, in order to use MD5 for affiliate links, you need to enable the Affiliate ID encoding under Affiliates > Settings > General.
As for the registrations, you can enable them in Settings > General. The Membership option should be set to Anyone can register.
Kind regards,
George
Hi George,
unfortunately I can’t tell you what happened, I found the site crashed in the morning and I restored everything with MySql and database backup.
I solved the problem of MD5 Referral links, my distraction, I hadn’t checked the referral management and I also solved the problem of view sales.
I apologize for inconveniencing what happened.
I have a question for you, “Each of my referrals is my agent, in Spain, Portugal and France and they have their own sister site with woocommerce installed. The Main Site is multilingual and your plugin is installed here of referrals”
In your opinion, can I add the referral code in the product link without affecting the SEO or is it better to find an alternative like creating a shop page with the products with the referral link working directly on the single product category and on the products themselves?
Thank you for your efficient assistance!
Carlo
Hi George,
I did everything but the site crashed
I reset everything and now I no longer see the MD5 codes of the affiliates…
Also new affiliates fail to register getting a Registrations Blocked error
Hi Carlo,
Welcome to our support channel and many thanks for choosing Affiliates Enterprise as your affiliates management tool.
From your description I would say that all you need to do is install Affiliates WooCommerce integration. If you go to Affiliates > Referrals and there are no referrals recorded for a sale that an affiliate link or coupon has been used, then you need to install the aforementioned addon.
Please make sure that Itthinx Updates plugin is installed, activated and your license key is added in its settings.
Then navigate to Affiliates > Settings > Integrations (tab) and install Affiliates WooCommerce integration which is responsible for recording referrals on referred sales.
Finally, make another test using either an affiliate link or affiliate coupon and check the result under Affiliates > Referrals.
For further assistance, you are more than welcome to follow-up on this thread.
Kind regards,
George
