Referral Rate Not Calculating Properly

I’m using Affiliates Pro, WooCommerce Intergration, and have recently updated everything to the latest available.

My referral rates are not being calculated correctly. I have the rate set to a Referral Rate of 0.20. I only sell 1 product at $19.99 plus $4.99 shipping. With a referral rate of 0.20, the commission should be $3.998 or $4 rounded up. Instead, my affiliates are only being credited $3.59.

I need to pay my affiliates for last month’s sales in the next day or two. Please advise asap!

Thanks!

  1. Closing this one, should be helpful for others though.

  2. Thanks for access, the calculation for the order is correct.

    Order total 22.98 – 4.99 shipping = 17.99 resulting in 3.59 commission at a referral rate of 0.2 (for 20%).

Note that you have a discount applied to the order as well so that the net sales amount for the product is NOT 19.99.

  3. Thank you for your quick reply. However, my costs are based on excluding tax, so the net sales amount if $19.99. I’ve taken a screenshot that I’d be happy to email to you if necessary, but taxes aren’t enabled at all, and all the settings site wide are to calculate pricing excluding tax.

What can I do to fix this asap?

    Thanks!

    1. Can we have admin access for support at itthinx dot com please?

  4. Hi Tiffany,

The system uses net sales amounts to calculate the commissions, i.e. excluding tax. In your case, it seems that the price indicated is including tax, when the commission for the example is calculated, the net order amount is used without tax or shipping, thus it results in the 3.59$ commission recorded for the referral.

    Cheers
