Random affiliate names popping on each page, can’t access role editor

I have a custom theme built on blue diamond i think it is linked to woocommerce and these are just a few of the issues we are having right now.

Random affiliate names at the top of pages no matter what computers you are on or who you are. The affiliate names just how up at the top of any page or when logging in. Lots of customer complaints made us aware

I am not sure what user or user meta (this recently just showed up on the dashboard)
but I am no longer able to see anything or view the role editor. I get you have insufficient access to this area. I am admin so webguy added another and very same thing.

Affiliates no longer get notice emails of orders.. NOtification is listed but they no longer get the email they had an order

I added this at the suggestion of itthinx email and have no clue what it does since nothing has changed. THIS Regarding the orders, the order details can’t be notified but there is a free extension to show them in the affiliate area http://github.com/itthinx/affiliates-woocommerce-views/

Woocommerce is an ecommerce site and must offer past order history. wOOCOMMERCE SAYS THIS MAY BE AN ISSUE WITH ITTHINX…ANY ONE HAVE A CLUE. NOt one customer has every been able to see past orders and affiliates can not view any of their personal orders via their site or a customer that uses their site.

This started when the usermeta was updated I think—-Emails when ordering now say wordpress at the top why???many complaints about that have been an issue also and I wonder if it was no updates or theme related.

Last of the major is that we get registration emails from people. I no longer have a clue where or why they are registering. I have no clue who registerd as an affilaite.

Please help I need help and am losing faith from customers and affiliate—can we just remove the email option at the top of the page…

ex debbie.yourselfexpression.com Debbie info would pop up so the customer knows they are on her site…well if you go direct or go to log in random names pop up and customers are freaked out and so are we.

IF YOU CAN HELP ME PLEASE REPLY AND I AM HAPPY TO GIVE LOG IN INFO. GODADDY SAID SITE IS SLOW AND ADMIN-AJAX IS ONE ONE REASON AND SO WAS S2..JUST ANOTHER ISSUE

Customers and affiliates are losing faith

  1. Hi,

Regarding “Random affiliate names at the top of pages” – I’ve checked your pages and don’t see anything like that happening.

Regarding “I am no longer able to see anything or view the role editor” – Role Editor is not a plugin we maintain, develop or support. Please contact the developer to get help.

Regarding “Affiliates no longer get notice emails of orders.. NOtification is listed but they no longer get the email they had an order” – this can be an issue with your email server, anyhow I’ve registered an account through the normal login and received the registration email. I don’t know where your affiliate area is and the admin access you provided via email is not working (wrong password). Please provide a link to your affiliate area where we can try the registration.

Regarding Affiliates WooCommerce Views you must use the [affiliates_woocommerce_orders]
    as described on http://github.com/itthinx/affiliates-woocommerce-views/

Regarding “Emails when ordering now say wordpress at the top” you should review your settings and use a plugin for your site that allows to use SMTP, for example https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-mail-smtp/ – note that this is not related to the Affiliates plugin at all.

Regarding “I have no clue who registerd as an affilaite” – visit Affiliates > Manage Affiliates on your site’s admin section where you can see your affiliates.

Most of what you describe has nothing to do with the Affiliates plugin at all. You should get help from an experienced WordPress developer or consultant, we do not provide support for these issues unless they are related to the Affiliates plugin.
