problems in “affiliates username” with usernames with two words
—
by
hello
I happen to have many users with “username” it is formed by two words with a space between them (eg “juan antonio”). So when I make affiliate url based on the “username” a url is created with a blank, and the urls of internet do not work with spaces in between, what I can do in that case?
thank you very much
Ricardo

Thank you very much Kento
Would need a little more help if you can, I commented that I need if you can help:
FIRST: I’ve seen that now the “username” with two words, becomes a “url” with “+” between the two words: “Example: barack obama +” … it is possible that becomes the two words together without the symbol “+” changing something in the code? “Example: barackobama”
SECOND: Since I modified the “.htaccess” I create my own “pretty urls” in “affiliates” >>> “Example: http: //xxxx.com/curso/49” in the code I use this “shorcode [affiliates_id] “to display the url to my users” http://xxxx.com/curso/%5Baffiliates_id%5D “and would need a ‘shortcode’ to do the same but show” affiliates_username “and could put something like wordpress “http://xxxx.com/curso/[affiliates_username]”
You Might create this “shortcode?> [Affiliates_username]” for the plugin “Affiliates by username”?
Thank you so much Kento
(* Sorry for my English is not very good)
Hi,
1.- This is not a good idea. If you don’t use a separator, the system can not differentiate between “barack obama” and “ba rackobama” for example.
2.- You can use the [affiliates_username] shortcode (you need to add this code in your functions.php file)
cheers
