Problem with importing
—
by
Hi,
We just bought the import export plugin to import a bunch of new users that are to be assigned to different groups and some user meta
We first made the groups, added a couple of test persons, we exported it, changed the test persons to a couple of new test persons.
and imported the text file.
No users are imported > and this is the only message:
Column declaration found on line 1, the following column order is assumed: user_email, user_login, first_name, last_name, user_url, user_pass, roles, groups, meta:description, meta:tsajq_capabilities, meta:tsajq_user_level
0 valid entries have been read.
0 entries have been skipped.
0 users have been imported.
0 users have been updated.
It registers the columns correctly as you can see. the userlines are not read it seems. But when I add “;” as a column seperater you get an error, indicating it does look at the user lines.
Any help would be appreciated.
Tried different file-types, but no success but also no errors or entries skipped?
I think I send in this question yesterday as well, but cant seem to find it on the forum.
Kind regards,
Martijn

HI George,
Thanks for the reply.
This was the second post I made, as I posted the first one (http://www.itthinx.com/topic/importing-only-the-first-line-declaring-columns-no-users/comment-page-1/#comment-755489) in a hurry at the end of day and the next day I could not see it, so I assumed something went wrong with the post.
We also do not get a email message( also checked the junkmail) with any information that we posted or got a reply.
So we are getting help there. Although not yet solved we are 250+ line further then before 🙂
Kind regards,
Martijn
Hi Arnold,
Can you please send me your import file to george at itthinx dot com.
I would like to test it in my installation.
Cheers,
George
