plugin fileds don’t show up in custom post type category
—
by
hello,
i’m using groups restrict categories with “the events calendar plugin”. This calendar plugin seems to use the wordpress custom post type to manage the events and events category. In the events category page i can’t see the plugin fields. I’ve checked in the plugin settings page and the events category is in the list groups restrict category and it’s active. Notice that in the single events page i can use restriction without any problem. So the problem seems caused by some display issues in the events category page. What can i do?
Thank you

Please update to version 1.1.0 which has been improved so that cases like this are covered.
Regarding Canvas and its slides, the WooSlider Filter Slides plugin has been created which is needed to enforce the access restrictions on slides that are shown on a page.
Other plugins have the same problem, for example: canvas slides and sensei
Ok, I’ll wait for your follow-up post, unfortunately I cannot know why you put my topics in pending review if you don’t email me something about it. How long do you think it’s going to take you to figure this out?
Thanks Daniel, can’t give an ETA on it yet but it’s already in the queue.
Hi,
This is probably due to how the event taxonomy is defined and the way that GRC recognizes which taxonomies it should handle. We need to look into this further to see if and how we can make them work together (and that’s also why your previous topics on this issue were pending).
Will post a follow-up here …
