Good Morning, I need some help with the configuration. under Affiliates WooCommerce Integration in the menu, I see few options. What I want is this: If a purchase is canceled, cancel the commission to the affiliate too. Do I need to mark the check box ?, I guess so, right? How I can do to give an 8% commission from the sale of 2 products (or a for example 30€ ) and a big fee if client buy 3 or more products ( or sale is big than 40€ ) ? Is possible?

Hi again and thank you very much. This is my link: http://goo.gl/TlHTsK
I will try to explain as fully as possible . The plugin works correctly, but if the administrator manually cancel the order the next time you use the URL of an affiliate do not save information about referral or commission. It is important for me, because we will enable payment by bank transfer. A customer does not pay, the order is canceled, in future the affiliate url is inactive for other customers who buy and do pay.
I´ll send you email with wp info. Thank you very much!
Oh i see, this is normal though.
Depending on the order status, the referral is adjusted accordingly. In your case when the order is cancelled, there is no sale, so the affiliate is not granted with a commission.
You can have a look here to see how the different order statuses adjust the referral status, by using the WooCommerce Integration.
However, if you still need some assistance, you can reply here or send your admin credentials to support at itthinx dot com and please include a link to this topic.
Cheers
Hi again.
I tryed it again and no, when I cancel a purchase, it is as if the affiliate link goes down. Can you take a look to my site, how can I give you access info?? Thanks in advance!
Thank you for your kind words, we deeply appreciate that. 🙂
From your description, it seems that something is wrong with the affiliate link you are using.
If you haven’t got any records under Affiliates>Visits & Referrals or Affiliates>Affiliates & Referrals or Affiliates>Referrals for this purchase, check your affiliate link and settings once more.
Make sure that every time you conduct a test, you get the link for the affiliate. A mistype and/or a letter missing from the link, can result in no referral.
Review once more your settings under Affiliates>Settings and make sure that the Affiliate URL parameter name hasn’t changed. If this occurs, you might be using an old/wrong link and the browser cookie has a wrong value.
Also, please check that you haven’t enabled MD5 encoding and performed a test using an old/wrong link.
For your test i would also suggest you to use the 0 value for the cookie timeout. So, once you finish a test and close the browser tab/window the cookie is gone and you will copy/paste the affiliate link once more.
Please have a look on these above and let me know if everything works normally.
Cheers
I have no doubt that you are an excellent team. I had no idea that also helps the weekend . You are a great team.
Now this works perfectly .
But one last question. I have been testing with an affiliate account , once done I’ve canceled order for not to modify the stock of the products received. I continued testing and now does not keep records affiliate references nor direct reference … The sale is done correctly but does not record any trace in the affiliate area. even as direct sales
Thanks in advance!
Hi María Jesús,
With your value it means that every referral would grant the affiliate with 14% of the amount of the purchase.
In order for this rates to apply, you should also choose this method as the Referral Amount Method.
So, under Settings>Commissions you should choose as Method the Referral Amount Method and as value the ACMMinRates::custom_method.
Kind regards,
George
Hi George, let me ask you another question about it:
I had this settings on affiliates-custom-method-minimum-rates.php:
public static $rates = array(
’90’ => 0.14,
‘120’ => 0.20,
‘2000’ => 0.30
In setings > comissions I have put 14 % with referral rate,
I have been testing with higher purchases to 120 € but the percentage of commission is always 14%. Do I need to make changes elsewhere ? Thanks in advance!
You are welcome María Jesús, you can modify the values in the $rates array defined in the affiliates-custom-method-minimum-rates.php file with any editor of your choice.
Cheers
A lot of thanks George.
This option is enought for me.
Can you tell me where do I need to do changes? I don´t see it in no one of the affiliate menu links. Do I need to do it manually? and, can I change minimum and maximum values manually?
Thank you!!!
Hi María Jesús,
As for your first question, you are right, check the box for Cancelled orders. I would suggest to check the box for failed orders as well.
As for different commission rates, there is an addon which calculates commissions based on the total amount of the order here. Although it is configured to grant 10%, 20%, 30% commission for orders of 1000, 2000, 3000 respectively, this can be modified easily to fit your preferences.
If you want to grant commission based on the number of products bought, that would require some more modifications to be done.
Try it and let me know if you want further assistance.
Kind regards,
George
