plug-in does not credit partner account

Hello there – and lots of thanks for your fast reply.

Hours ago i have purchased Affiliates Pro and Affiliates Permanent, because i have been thinking, that the second plug-in would solve the issue, that for unknown reasons the referral credit of 2 US$ for a new user registration has not been recorded anymore. I worked once but not more often.

Is it possible, that your plug-in/script is saving e-mail-addresses of test referrals, even though i have deleted the test accounts AND the recorded traffic/actions in your plug-in?

Fast help would be very welcome!

Truly

  1. Hi Thomas,

Thanks for choosing our plugins for your affiliate marketing program.

The plugin doesn’t store user data that would result in such a failure to record a new referral. Once you delete a user account from Users > All users, then that user data is available again, a common practice we also use when testing the functionality.

In your case I think you should first check that during the test registration process, the affiliate cookie is stored properly when visiting an affiliate URL. Please check the example I provided in the screenshot, on how to check the browser cookie when the affiliate URL is visited.

Also, if during your tests you are logged in as an affiliate and then try to test this URL on the same browser window then make sure to either switch to a different browser for the referral test, or enable the option to Allow auto-referrals under Affiliates > Settings > Referrals (tab).

    Kind regards,
    George
