Two items….
1. The notification to the admin of a new affiliate doesn’t seem to be coming from the notification email set up area. It’s pulling that info from somewhere else which if I knew I could edit.
The admin receives the following which does not match the one in the notification area.
Subject: [Crowdfunding Universe] New Affiliate Registration
Body: New affiliate registration on your site Crowdfunding Universe:
Username: *****
E-mail: scott@*****.com
2. I want my affiliates to use the following link and not the root domain only to refer others to. I want to send this in the email they receive when they sign up. I’ve tried the the variable [affiliate_id] but it doesn’t pass the correct information in the email.
http://crowdfundinguniverse.com/launch/?refer=3
The email the affiliate receives looks like:
http://crowdfundinguniverse.com/launch/?refer=[affiliate_id]

Thanks for getting back to me… Regarding 2. Your answer is above my pay grade. In your affiliate area in ithinx you have three nice banners on top that say LINKS, BANNERS AND REFERRALS.
How did you do that… I like the the ability of allowing affiliates to generate their own link under “LINKS.” I would think that things like this would come out of the box ready.
Hi Scott,
the token is not available for emails, but you can use the shortcodes to generate this in a page.
Ex. using [affiliates_generate_url]
Kind Regards,

If you want to create the tabs, Easy Responsive Tabs seems to do it.
Kind Regards
Hi Scott,
1.- In Affiliates->Notifications you can set the administrator notifications when a new referral is created, but not when a new affiliate is registered. If you need to custom this messaage, you can use the ‘affiliates_new_affiliate_registration_subject’ filter.
2.- This token is not available in the registration email. You can use the filter ‘affiliates_registration_tokens’ to add more tokens (this has only one parameter, array associative, ex. $param[‘site_url’] = get_bloginfo ( ‘url’ ); )
Kind Regards,
Antonio B.
