That’s awesome Richard, I’m glad this is resolved and many thanks for the follow-up.

Solved
Many thanks for your help. So I checked the plugin folders against the names in another installation. The pro folder was named wrong. My guess is that it added a number as I had more than one copy on my computer and the Zip file was renamed – 2. I unisntalled Pro, renamed the zip file and uploaded again – all good now. Many thanks. (Just renaming the folder did not work and caused an error)
Hey Richard,
You’re welcome.
The second point you mentioned seems useful in this case but first things first,
1. The error relates to Affiliates Coupons plugin, it needs an update to declare compatibility with WC’s HPOS feature even though the plugin is not directly related to HPOS. In the meantime, you can Enable compatibility mode (synchronizes orders to the posts table). As for enabling HPOS in WC again, you need to deactivate Affiliates Coupon temporary.
2. This message not only shows that Affiliates Pro is installed, but also activated. In addition to that it also shows that Affiliates Free edition has been activated.
3. This is unexpected too and since you’re not using cache, then IMO you should also check your wp-content/plugins folder for any duplicate plugin-folders.
4. This is also expected due to the message mentioned in 2#.
What I would recommend at this point would be to check the wp-content/plugins folder both for permissions currently applied(folders and files) and also for duplicate plugin-folders. The folder naming is equivalent to the plugin naming, so the folder affiliates-pro is the Affiliates Pro plugin, affiliates-woocommerce refers to Affiliates WooCommerce integration and affiliates-coupons relates to Affiliates Coupons plugin.
Once you try this let me know if you had any luck, or otherwise I think it would be better for us to have a closer look.
Kind regards,
George
(Actually, I don’t think that it is recording visits as I just tried again and not visit recorded.)
Many thanks for the quick reply.
It is a new website and I am not using a cache plugin. It is strange as everything looks right. (I have installed on other websites and checked.)
A few things:
1 – Error message from WooCommerce – Affiliates Coupons is not compatible with WooCommerce high performance order storage I have switched woocommerce to legacy mode but it is not possible to switch back.
2 – If I deactivate pro I get the message The Affiliates plugin must be deactivated or removed. – suggesting that Pro is installed
3 – If I deactivate Coupons – still the same error message for Affiliates WooCommerce Integration
4 – I have a powered by Powered by IconAffiliates Pro sign in the admin footer
I have deactivated and re-installed the plugins
The reports show that the Affiliate Pro plugin is recording referrals.
Many thanks
Hi Richard,
Welcome back to our support forum for Affiliates Pro.
Can you please check your installation and if you are using a caching plugin, then make sure to purge the cache contents.
When using a cache it is recommended to purge it, especially when there are changes to your plugins like installing, updating, enabling, disabling one or more plugins on your site.
Kind regards,
George
