New affiliates are getting an error

Anyone who is trying to sign up on my site as an affiliate are getting an error that says “Suspected Bot”. Why is this happening and how do I fix it? A quick, timely response is appreciated. I have a dozen people waiting to sign up.

  1. Hi Ruth,

You can find which of your plugins gives this message by disabling all of your plugins and keep active only the affiliates plugin. Then try activating your plugins one-by-one and each time make a test registration until you find the plugin in question.
There is also a possibility that this message comes from your theme, so if none of your plugins gives this message try switching to a default theme and again make a test registration.
If you are not using any premium plugins, you can also send me your plugins list to george at itthinx dot com, so i can try them in my test installation.

    Kind regards,
    George

  2. I don’t have any other captcha or registration plugins that are blocking anything. More help please.

  3. Hi Ruth,

This doesn’t seem to be an error message related to Affiliates plugin.
I think you should check the rest of your plugins, especially if you use any plugins for captcha or registration validation.

    Kind regards,
    George
