Need Help Trouble shooting
—
by
I watched all the relevant videos, but that hasn’t solved all of my issues. I’d appreciate if someone could help trouble shoot these for me! I am essentially a techno-boob, so when things don’t work as they should, I’m hooped.
I have the affiliate sign up form set up on my ‘Become an Affiliate’ Page.
When I fill in the form, and submit, it is replaced with a “Thanks for signing up” message, along with a notice to watch for a confirmation email and a link to log in. (The link takes them to the WP User login which takes them to the backend of my site, rather than just accessing their affiliate profile page. Where can I cane this.)
The new affiliate is added to the Manage Affiliates list and the WP user registration. As administrator, I receive a notice of a new affiliate registration, however, it doesn’t trigger an email to the new affiliate with login information. (even though I have ‘enable notifications’ checked in the Notifications section)
I set up an Affiliate Profile page to allow affiliates to login using the following codes:
[ithinx_login_redirect/]
[affiliates_affiliate_profile/]
The Profile page now shows:
[ithinx_login_redirect/] then a partial form: first name, last name, email but no submit button.
Once I get these basic problems sorted out, is there a way to add the new affiliate to my mail chimp list and trigger an auto responder series?
Thanks for your help.
Anne

Hi,
When you create an affiliate from the affiliates area a new wordpress user is created and associated to this new affiliate. In Affiliates->Notifications you can customize this welcome email.
[ithinx_login_redirect/] shortcode doesn’t exist. It’s [affiliates_login_redirect /]
Please give us an url to test the affiliates-area.
If you need to synchronize your affiliates with mailchimp, affiliates2mailchimp plugin can help you.
