Multi tier commissions

I have setup the commissions as instructed in the documentation and no matter how I set the values the affiliate payout is always 100% of the sale instead of 50% .. and it is not paying out on any of the tiers.. how can I get it working properly

  1. Hi Michael,

I’ve installed itthinx updates plugin. Now, you should go to itthinx updates settings, to enter your service key.
After that, you can install WooCommerce Integration from Affiliates>Settings>Integrations( this integration is included when you have an Affiliates Pro or Enterprise license ). You will also notice a prompt in the Dashboard to unistall WooCommerce Integration Light, which is not necessary.

With WooCommerce Integration you can also enable recurring payments for affiliates.

    Cheers

    1. It will not let me install the Affiliates WooCommerce Integration it gives same error that the itthinx updates plugin gave..

      1. Hi Michael,

I’ve forwarded the latest to you.

        Cheers

  2. I tried to install the itthinx updates plugin and I get an error.. also you stated that I am still using ‘WooCommerce Integration Light’ what should I be using instead?

  3. on the site I have added and adjusted the referrals to match what they should have been totaling

also I am using woocomerce subscription so will the affiliate system recalculate each time they renew their subscription automatically

  4. That’s ok Michael, i will have another look at your site.

    Cheers

  5. I do NOT request a refund as I have seen it was my settings and mistake of it not working, and I do apologies for that.

  6. I have been out of town.. sorry for delay.
I have been changing settings around and I got part of it to work.. I got it to give the tier payout but it just isn’t figuring it correctly.. All orders are $20 and I have base set to 50% and each tier at 5% so base level should pay $10 and each tier should payout $1 but it is figuring the tier payouts at $.30 and cant find where I have messed up at.. can you please have a look… as I have been editing the Referral totals to reflect the correct amount..

  7. do I just contact PayPal?

    1. Hi Michael,

I’ve emailed you twice and we already had a look at your site, I’m quoting from the emails below:

      Hi Mike,

Just following up on this, we’ve had a look at your site and you hadn’t installed the Itthinx Updates plugin and were still using WooCommerce Integration Light. George will be helping you further.

      Cheers,
      Kento

I have seen that you are asking for a refund on your order. Would you like us to process the refund directly or shall we have a look at your site first?

  10. Yes I do have her levels set as level1 .05 and level2 .05
I am sending you the email now,,

    Thanks for your help..

  11. Hi Michael,

So, if i got it right, under Miranda settings you should have 0.5 for Level 1 and 0.05 for Level 2.
Are you also using Affiliates Permanent?
I would like to have a look at your Affiliates configuration.
Please take a full backup of your files and database and send a mail at support at itthinx dot com with your admin credentials and don’t forget to include a link to this topic.

    Kind Regards,
    George

    1. I am not using Affiliates Permanent

    2. did you receive the email with my admin credentials?

  12. Hi Michael,

As for the payout, please make sure that you are not using an affiliate attribute of Referral Rate set to 100% which can cause this.
As for the tiers not working, make sure that tiers are enabled in general, under Affiliates>Tiers and that the referrers are set properly.
    An example would be this.
Affiliate 1 gets a new referral through his affiliate link and we want to give tier commission to Affiliate 2 as well. In order for the tier to work, Affiliate 1 must be assigned to Affiliate 2 and there should be a rate set for Level 1.

    Kind regards,
    George

    1. I dont have any affiliate attribute set.. I have tried to set it at .50 and still doesnt change payout other 100%.
Also I do have Tiers enabled in general.. I have three ties of referrals on the site right now.. example.

Package cost $20 each person buys that package the tier is suppose to pay 50% for referrer and 5% for each tier below them.

so Craig signs up and pays $20 puts him on top of tier
Then Gabe signs up under Craig (craig should get 50% commission)
then Gabe signs Miranda up so then (Gabe should get 50% of mirandas $20 purchase and Craig should get 5% of mirandas purchase)

so Craigs total payout should be ($10 from Gabe and $1 from Miranda) and Gabes total should be ($10 from Miranda)
instead it show Craigs total as $20 and Gabs total as $20

I have changed every setting on the tier and Referral Rates and can not get it to show anything other then 100% payout of order and pay nothing on any of the tiers
