Installation Affilaites Pro and PayPal Integration

Just installed Affiliates Pro but when I clicked on Please install the itthinx updates plugin to enable automatic updates for your plugins by itthinx I get the following message:
An unexpected error occurred. Something may be wrong with WordPress.org or this server’s configuration. If you continue to have problems, please try the support forums.

Also when I try to install the affliaites-paypal-1.2.1 plugin I get the following error message:

Unpacking the package…

Installing the plugin…

The package could not be installed. No valid plugins were found.

Plugin install failed.

Return to Plugins page

Fix anyone?

    Hi Derek,

    Regarding the unexpected error, this can happen sometimes but shouldn’t be persistent. I’ve seen it happen on local installations also for plugins hosted elsewhere and if you retry later it should be fine.

    Regarding the ‘no valid plugins’ error, this is due to a corrupted zip file. Please download it again and make sure the download is completed before trying to install the plugin.
