I don’t understand what a referral User is.

ON this page, this is so confusing. I’m not sure what this really does. I’ve read over the documention a hundred times: http://docs.itthinx.com/document/affiliates-pro/user-registration/
What constitutes a “referral user”,(referred user) ? This seems like they are referring to another level of affiliates? Is this what it is? Or when an affiliate recruits another affiliate? So that new 2nd or new affiliate would be called a referred user?
And what is a “base amount” ? This makes no sense. I have already setup my first affiliate inside the attributes. Isn’t this all I have to do?

Exactly.
More if you are looking for new users-customers.
Memberships are usually WooCommerce products.
Anyway, you can leave this feature disabled and if needed you can enable it again.

Hi Dustin,
If you have a look at the beginning of this page, this feature refers to commissions that can be granted to your affiliates whenever they refer a new user on your site.
So, a new user after following an affiliate URL registers to your site. This action will grant a commission to that affiliate. The term “referred user” is the user i just described above.
Base amount is the value used to calculate the commission when a new user is referred – registered. This amount is multiplied by the affiliate’s referral rate attribute( if used ) to give the commission. If you prefer to grant a fixed amount for new user registrations, then you should use the Amount value.

So this has nothing to do with woocommerce sales. This is more if we were doing a membership program or just wanted people to register for something correct? It seems for what we are doing we don’t need this as we are using our own content management system and there would be no reason for us to give an affiliate any money for someone that registers for our site really. At least I can’t think of a scenario.
