How to setup Commission rate for individual affiliates on personal sales NOT tiered affiliates

Hi, We finally were able to get the referrals to credit affiliates. However, the referral rates for commission is not calculating correctly on personal sales. We need to set it at 30-50% on personal sales (referrals), then the tiers are what I understand to be used for the people referred as affiliates by a particular affiliate, and their sales which get paid to the upline. The tiers part seems to be working correctly.

So Affiliate A gets 30% commission for all orders generated through their affiliate link. We have three different types of affiliates, hence 30 -50%. I need to set them according to the level for that particular affiliate.

How do we set the rate for personal sales?

Can you explain the difference between referral amount method and referral rate and referral amount.
I have read through everything but don’t understand the difference and which to use for the personal sales.

    Hi,
    You can set a custom rate by affiliate in Affiliates->Manager affiliates editing the affiliate and adding a new attribute.
    The difference is:
    – Referral amount: To generate fixed amount (for example 25 —> $25)
    – Referral rate: To generate amount rate (for example: 0.25 —> 25%)
    – Referral amount method: So you can use a custom method to calculate the amount (for example: if you need different rate for each product).
