How to set up a commission amount

Please see this topic first as it was closed without the actual issue being fixed or looked into:

Commissions not being added from Coupon Code

The issue here is not the “referrals” being registered, as I made no mention of referrals in my initial posting. The issue is the COMMISSION as in the dollar value associated to the purchase that the affiliate should receive. (Unless you are intertwining a commission with a referral)

There is no commission / money being allocated or defined for the affiliate. I am clearly missing something here as the affiliate Pro package allows you to combine coupons / links for commission.

I have a feeling the issue involves setting up a referral amount? or percentage? which would make an easy fix. – Referral Amount – Referral Amount Method – Referral Rate

I would like to provide an affiliate with a 5% commission, how can I make this happen.
