How do I check how much time is remaining on a drip for a user?

-When a wordpress user gets added to a drip, as an admin of the website, is there a way to know how much time is left on a user’s drip if let’s say we had a 14 day expiry time set that starts from when the account was created?

Hey Marc,
You’re welcome and many thanks for your feedback, I will mark your topic as a feature request and check if your recommendations can be included in a future version of the plugin.
Please also keep in mind that memberships created with Groups plugin, don’t have a time limitation and can only be terminated manually. The content dripping for a group member won’t affect the membership of the user but only the visibility of the content itself. I would also recommend you to have a look at Groups documentation in general, but also the section for Memberships. If you wish to provide time-based memberships based on Groups plugin, then you should also check Groups WooCommerce and especially the options for time-limited memberships.
Regarding Itthinx Updates plugin, if you still have issues installing it even manually then please let me know.
Kind regards,
George
Thanks George.
I think it would be a great idea to render the time remaining of the drip so it could be used in something like a countdown timer. If there was a shortcode for that it would be useful.
Yes I think it would be a good idea for seeing how much time a user has on a membership in the users section. And also to be able to somehow export that to a CMS like hubspot when the drip starts so we can see in our tasks that we need to reach out to the customer before the time expires.
As for the Itthinx plugin, I clicked it and it showed this URL
https://www.tribeify.io/wp-admin/update.php?action=install-plugin&plugin=itthinx-updates&_wpnonce=290bfa9341
And the page just showed a blank page with a message saying “Plugin not found”.
Hi Marc,
Welcome to our support forum and many thanks for using Groups Drip Content on your site. FYI, I have reviewed all your support topics and will cover your questions below.
When you choose to drip a post or a section of a post via the shortcode, you can share the duration of content dripping within the content itself so that the user can be aware of that info. Even though there is no feature for a countdown rendered it’s an option we should examine.
As for the site admin I believe that you are referring to a list of all users that are involved in content dripping or alternatively an additional field in the user profile that shows info related to dripping. What do you think of these options?
Regarding the feature of dripping content with Group Membership, the dripping duration is related to the group(s) provided by Groups plugin where the user becomes a member of. It applies in combination with the group that a post is restricted to and the From value begins counting when a user becomes a member of a group while the Until is related to the latest membership of the user, or when was the last group a user became a member of. Even if a user cannot view anymore content that is dripped, the membership will be preserved. All user memberships and content restrictions are handled by Groups plugin, while the Groups Drip Content will determine after what amount of time will a user be able to view the content.
Last but not least, you can always download and install Itthinx Updates plugin manually from this link, but it would be great if you could share with us the error you got when trying to install it directly from your Dashboard.
Kind regards,
George
