Groups Restrict Categories not working when multiple subcategories assigned
—
by
Hi, here’s my problem and settings.
Groups: X, Y, Z.
Categories: A, B, C, Csub1, Csub2, Csub3.
Group X is assigned to all of those categories (thus not restricted).
When products assigned to categories A, Csub1 and Csub2 are available to group X, the customer can no longer see those products in any of the categories. (I don’t believe this was the case when I set these things up 2 years ago).
If same product is limited to categories A and Csub1 (removing the second subcategory), then the customer can see the product in either category.
My Group Options settings for Post Types are: Media, Page, Post, Product.
My Groups Restrict Categories settings for Taxonomies are: both category and product category.
WordPress 5.3
Groups 2.9.0
Groups Restrict Categories 2.1.2
WooCommerce Version 3.8.0

Hi Evans,
Thanks so much for being super patient. Yes, I successfully logged on to the site and carried out my test.
And would be sending you a proper resolution for the topic tomorrow.
Thanks again for your immense patience and for using Groups and its associated plugins.
Warm regards,
Eugen.
