   Hi Kento

   Thats fine I am aware of the laws. WP and Woocommerce have done their bit to introduce core function for users who have signed up, purchased on Woo and WP. However I dont see the affiliate plug in hooked into this new update.

   Any possibility this will happen in the near future

      Yes, WordPress provides new tools to handle requests for personal data and WooCommerce includes a note and link to the privacy policy – is there any particular feature you would suggest to incorporate into the Affiliates system that would help make things easier to handle?

   Thanks for asking, I would recommend to adopt the appropriate policies based on your business, the affiliate system itself is obviously not the basis for your business’ data protection compliance – you should make sure that your affiliate program adheres to the regulations that affect the individuals and businesses towards whom it is directed.

   You might want to review sources like General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) FAQs for small organisations and make sure that you inform your users of the data that is collected and assure that they can execute their corresponding rights related to their data.
