Free and paid affiliates?

Is there a way to create free affiliates and paid affiliates? I want to have my site set up to where a free referrer will make a commission when someone they sign up uses my services and then have tiers set up for paid affiliates. Is this possible? If so, how?

    Hi Michael,

    You can set it up as a normal affiliate system with tiers as described in the documentation for tier commissions and keep the referral status to pending in Affiliates>Settings>Referrals under Default referral status, until the referral uses your service.
