  1. Thanks Rob,

I checked your site and indeed the error occurs when I tried to register. But after switching to twentyfifteen theme, the registration was completed without any errors.
It seems that your theme requires new users to choose a role on registration. You can find how this is generated if you search in the theme files for that error, or even better contact your theme developer and ask for more details on how to disable it.

Regarding limit login attempts you should have a look at your Dashboard under Settings. This addon is usually offered as an option when you install WordPress through Softaculous.

    Kind regards,
    George

  2. Hi George,

I don’t have a limit login attempt plugin.

    Please follow this link:

  3. Hi Rob,

Thanks, please also disable the limit login attempts plugin because I still haven’t managed to login to your site, it keeps giving an error to try again after a minute.

    Cheers,
    George

  4. Hi George,

Just emailed you a new password.

    Thanks

    Rob

  5. Hi Rob,

It seems that it won’t allow me to reset the password, you need to reset it manually.

    Cheers,
    George

  6. Sorry, no mail received yet not even in spam.
To save time, just comment here your site wp-admin URL and I will reset the password.

    Cheers,
    George

  7. Hi George,

Yes please that would be great, I’m finding this very frustrating on my own.

You should have received an email granting you temporary access.

    Much appreciated

    Rob

  8. Hi Rob,

Since you are still getting the error, there is a custom hook on your functions.php but if you like I can have a look on your Dashboard. You may provide temp admin access to your site by sending the credentials to george@itthinx.com and mention the topic title on the subject.

    Kind regards,
    George

  9. Hi George,

Thanks for the response. I’ve disabled all other plugins and deactivated and reactivated Affiliates and I’m still getting the error message, any ideas?

    Thanks

    Rob

  10. Hi,

This error is produced by one of your plugins probably responsible for letting users choose a role upon registration. If you locate it, you need to disable this feature for affiliates registration form.

    Kind regards,
    George
