Error: There was a problem processing your registration

We have Affiliate Pro installed on our site (Version 2.8.6) with the Woo Commerce integration. We created a user registration page, but when we test a sign-up it generates an error message: ERROR: There was a problem processing your registration.

In the general WordPress settings, we do NOT have the option checked for “Membership: Anyone can register.”

Our site is hosted with Pagely.com.

    Could you perhaps send us your admin credentials to support[at]itthinx[dot]com alongside with a link to this topic.

    Make sure to enable debugging as well.
    You can do this by editing the wp-config.php file, find the line where there is
    define( ‘WP_DEBUG’, false );
    and replace it with these lines
    define( ‘WP_DEBUG’, true );
    define( ‘WP_DEBUG_LOG’, true );    .
    Finally, go to your installation’s wp-content folder and add a file named debug.log, for the messages to be stored to.

    Thanks George. I enabled that option and tested and still got the same error. The default setting for the role when they register is “subscriber.”

    Hi Nickolay,

    In order to allow new user registrations, the option “Anyone can register” should be enabled.
