Earning always at 0

I created an affiliate test account. From this account I created an affiliate url.

On another browser I connected to my site with this url and made a purchase. Purchase on behalf of a visitor

The result is 0, the affiliate does not earn anything, we can see that someone came using this url but no earnings. I have set 0.03 and wOoCmmerce or NOT wOOcommerce and the result is always the same;
how to make sure that the affiliate is earning with every sale made with his url link?

    Hi Thierry,

    Thanks for your cooperation so far. The issue you had was related to Affiliates Pro plugin files and after re-installing the plugin everything works as it should.
    I have made another referred test order and the referral has been properly added alongside with the correct commission. Then I’ve re-activated the plugins that where Recently Active and made another referred order with a successful result again.

    Please proceed and deactivate/remove Affiliates Pro on your live site and then re-install/re-activate it, preferably before activating your caching features.
    Your previous comment has been modified to remove sensitive data.

    Kind regards,
    George

    Hi Thierry,

    Good to hear that because that’s exactly the point of this support session, to make the plugin work properly on your site.
    This product has been around for several years and since there are issues only on your installation then something must be wrong with your site and setup. Since you already have a staging site then I would like to continue checking this installation over there where I can freely proceed with my tests once you deactivate all caching features and send me access to it.

    The Hits represent the total number of physical resources that were requested from the server and provide information about the total number of files downloaded or the total number
    of pages viewed by a visitor. Files can be everything on your site, after all a site consists of many different types of files. On the other hand a Visit represents the number of times the user visits the website to view a single page or multiple pages. When you use a referral link and visit your site, you will notice a number of hits which will be equal to or ( usually ) greater than the number of visits and if this referred visit ends up in a sale then you will also have a Referral.

    The debug.log file is located in the wp-content folder of your site’s installation and will be automatically created if there are issues with your site and WP debugging is enabled.
    As a reminder and in order to enable debugging edit your wp-config.php file and replace this line:

    define( ‘WP_DEBUG’, false );

    with these lines:

    define( ‘WP_DEBUG’, true );
    define( ‘WP_DEBUG_LOG’, true );
    define( ‘WP_DEBUG_DISPLAY’, false );

    Kind regards,
    George

    Hi Thierry,

    It is possible that the warning message itself is cached and you keep getting it when visiting the Plugins page, hence my recommendation to disable them both and try again.
    Another possible reason is that there is a conflicting plugin in your installation that affects the plugins in the active list. Such cases can be handled if you temporary disable all your plugins, switch the active theme and then start activating them one-by-one till you locate the conflict.

    For both cases it can be very useful to also keep an eye in your debug.log for related messages, errors or warnings.

    Kind regards,
    George

      Sir, please understand that I would prefer that everything works properly rather than having to send you messages regularly. And I apologize, but using your plugin on my site does not do any good for my site

      I have staged my site, deactivated all plugins, then activated Affiliate Pro and Affiliate for woocommerce, and I still get this message.

      We can see when connections are made with the affiliate link, it is the only thing that works!
      But I do not have the earnings for the affiliate, sales were made with his link, earnings = 0 euro

      Then I do not understand the difference on your statistics between “Visits” and “Hits”, what does “Hits” mean, or see when a purchase has been made thanks to an affiliate link?

      You talk to me about Debug.log, how to access it ?

    OK ,

    but why do u always have this errors messages ?

    Affiliates Coupons needs the Affiliates Pro or Affiliates Enterprise plugin. Please install and activate it.

    Affiliates WooCommerce Integration plugin requires an appropriate Affiliates plugin to be activated: Affiliates Pro or Affiliates Enterprise.

    Hi Thierry,

    Yes your settings seem to be correct, the Affiliates WooCommerce integration is installed and seems to be active and there is a rate set for calculating commissions on referred WC orders for a specific affiliate.
    Once you have an update please follow-up on this thread.

    Kind regards,
    George

    Hi Thierry,

    Thanks for providing access to your site. As it appears there are issues on your installation at the moment most probably related to caching.
    When I used an affiliate link on my browser I got the following in the frontend:
    https://imgur.com/0CUwRmF
    The site header is rendered several times without any obvious reason.
    Apart from that, when checking your plugins list it seems as if the Affiliates plugin and the associated addons are not active even though they are.

    At the moment there seem to be two different caching plugins running, Kinsta cache and Asset CleanUp : Page Speed Booster which is also not recommended since you are probably using two different addons for the same purpose.

    I would recommend you to first enable WP debugging and check your wp-content/debug.log for issues. After that disable both caching plugins and then check if the referred sales result in a successful referral. I couldn’t proceed any further at this point and disable them myself because I’m not certain whether your site is running live at the moment.

    Kind regards,
    George

    Hi Thierry, welcome back to our support forum.

    Can you please provide temp admin access to your site? I think it’s better to have a closer look at your setup and make some referral tests as an affiliate. For the temp admin account you may also use my personal email address, george at itthinx dot com.

    Kind regards,
