Customized Link Not Working
—
by
Affiliate made a direct link to the page of the product she wanted to push.
Here’s an example of her link: http://traceymallett.com/product/ballet-booty-barre?affiliates=9
Her visits and hits were recorded, however the totals were not. Why is it that the visits and hits are recorded but the actual sale is filed under the default “Direct” account. So luckily, I can see that sales were made based on the link she used, but they do not show up under her affiliate account.
When I use the provided link http://traceymallett.com?affiliates=9
the plugin records perfectly.
Can your affiliate handle a direct link to a product or do they have to go through the front page of the website? Does she need to put a “/” before the “?affiliates=9”?
Thank you for looking into this.

That topic also didn’t help with displaying the chart.
Hi,
This can be caused by memory problems.
You only have 40 MBytes of memory (you can see it in Woocommerce->System Status). You need to raise your PHP memory limit, try setting memory_limit = 128M in your php.ini and in your wp-config.php file.
cheers
Chart is still not showing…Please advise.
Hi,
I have sent you an email.
cheers
Made all the changes and the value/commission is still posting to “Direct” and not the affiliates. Please help.
Hi,
your settings seem correct, and this must work fine. I have not finished the order, but the cookie is created correctly.
You have set only 1 day to cookie expiration (in Affiliates->Options), maybe the cookie was expired.
cheers
I don’t think that every single person that ordered through the affiliate link provided took a full day or more to order. If there is no solution then I would like a refund.
There’s an option for that. Please refer to the documentation and go to Affiliates > Options to set the referral timeout.
I did a test and it worked for me, but I’m doing the same steps that the affiliate is doing….Oh well. I’ll just let this one go for a sec and try our luck with the next one.
That meant thank you for looking into this.
Ahhh ok 😀 thanks! I’ll close the topic then 😉
Were you able to see why the chart wasn’t showing on my affiliates area page?
Hi,
maybe this topic can help you.
cheers
Are you going to help me? I sent the login info to support at itthinx dot com I’ts been 3 business days and my client is not happy. I will need to be refunded and move on to a different plug-in if you can not help with a solution by tomorrow.
Hi,
sorry for the delay, if you do not enter the topic in the email we can not know who are the login details which have reached us.
You have not properly configured the plugin:
– In Affiliates->Woocommerce integration you must set a default rate.
– In Affiliates->Settings set “Referral Amount Method” then click on “Save” and finally set Affiliates_WC_Method::product_rate.
cheers
Hi Antonio,
Thanks for looking into this. Please read my post carefully.
“Her visits and hits were recorded, however the totals/sales were not.” The sales were recorded to the “direct” account, which is weird because their visits and hits were recorded under her affiliate account.
I do have WooCommerce Integration installed. I’m also not seeing the graph when I inject the shortcode onto the affiliate area section. http://traceymallett.com/affiliate-area-2/
If you can provide me with your e-mail I will send you login information.
Sorry,
you can send us dashboad admin access to support at itthinx dot com (please indicate this tpic in the email).
cheers
Hi,
the link seems to work fine (visits and hits are recordered).
Do you have installed and enabled the integration with WooCommerce?
cheers
