Credit Emails

Affiliates are getting sent emails when a person goes to PayPal. When they click on Proceed to PayPal they are getting credited for a commission. I just watched someone go to PayPal and I was sent this email:

A referral has been credited to the affiliate namehere.

If the user cancels the checkout at PayPal then this should not be sending out the email.

Please advise…

    This needs to be resolved ASAP! Affiliates think they are being ripped off when they get paid. They need to be notified of a cancelled order. Really it should only send the affiliate a notification when the order has been completed. That will solve everything!

      Hi Rick,

      You should adjust the default referral status to Pending instead of Accepted and that avoids the notification being sent in the first place.

    Hi Rick,

    Yes you are right about that, there should be a seperate notification when the referral has been cancelled.
    I will suggest the feature for a future release of the plugin.
