Commissions being gifted to wrong account?

Hello,

I appear to have an affiliate being gifted commissions for other affiliate traffic and codes.

Affiliate #19 has code: 1f0e3dad99908345f7439f8ffabdffc4

Yet is receiving referrals from website not owned by them and, according to the Traffic logs, the landing URL is 9ca14e7ea6328a42e0eb13d585e4c22

I have tried for hours to figure this out, as our main affiliate is losing a lot of commissions.

Is this a bug in the system?

Please assist asap.

Thank you.

  1. Hi,

The issues appear to have started a number of weeks ago, likely around an update but gone un-noticed. Commissions are being given to the wrong affiliates across multiple sets of registered accounts.

There are hundreds and hundreds of commissions that I believe have been incorrectly assigned. It would be great if I could show the situation over a screen share or similar.

I have removed all /*affiliates* from caching and stopped the removal of the strings from static resources. This may correct it going forward.

    Many thanks.

      Hello,
Should the issue persist, I might need to take a look at the backend of your website to get the exact picture of what’s going on. Don’t hesitate to send temporary admin credentials for the Dashboard to our email – help [at] itthinx [dot] com.
      Keep us posted!

    Hello,
Did you make any updates or changes to your WordPress install just before the issue started occurring?
Do you have any caching solution active – be it a plugin (like W3 Total Cache) or server-site (a Varnish Cache or other supported by your hosting)? If yes, you need to exclude the affiliates links from caching and/or clear the caches.
Anti-spam plugins can interfere with the system’s ability to correctly recognize affiliate links too.

I am looking forward to your answer and solving this as quickly as possible!
You can check our Troubleshooting section here -> http://docs.itthinx.com/document/affiliates-pro/troubleshooting/ for more ideas meanwhile.
    Cheers,
