Commission rates per level in a multitiered system
—

Hi Eugen,
can you kindly guide to where I can learn more about adding Commission rates per level in a multitiered system. I have found this tutorial http://docs.itthinx.com/document/affiliates-pro/rates/ however, it doesn’t seem to show how to set commission rates can be set per level in a multitiered system.
Please advise further.
Regards
Chris

Hi Chris,
As long as there is a rate set where you have defined at least a commission rate or amount and Affiliates WooCommerce integration is installed and activated, the system will be able to record referrals and give commissions to your affiliates. The Earnings section in Affiliates Dashboard will show only the referrals that are Accepted or Closed, but if you have made test(s) and there is a referral shown under Affiliates > Referrals, then the system is working properly.
If there are no referrals recorded then there is definitely an issue which should be addressed. The reason can vary from a simple error generated to a conflict with a third-party plugin but the first thing is to assure that referrals are recorded or not.
Kind regards,
George
Hi Chris,
Setting up a rate per level for tiered commissions is actually pretty easy. Apart from setting the rate value and type, all you need to do is select the level which this rate would apply for in the equivalent field. You may find the process description if you check the documentation under the section Setting Level Rates.
Also, make sure that you have at least one rate set without a level chosen which will apply for the Original Referrer, aka the affiliate which the initial referral is recorded for.
Kind regards,
George
Hi George,
Thank you for your response.
I am not entirely sure that the software is recording any commissions in the earnings tab of the dashboard at all. Putting the tiers to one side for a moment, can you confirm what setting I would need to have in order to test if a single affiliate is seeing commission recorded on the earnings tab in the dashboard. For example, lets suppose I just want to pay affiliate ID = 518 a 10% commission on any sale that is made where his url was used (https://sixdeep.com/product/la-one-size-fits-all-shirt/?affiliate_id=518). How would I set this up?
At least then I will see if the commissions are getting shown on the earnings tab for a single affiliate. I am starting to wonder if there is an underlying issue because I can’t seem to get the commission to display.

Chris
