Commission Calculation incorrect

β€”

by

Hi, I am using Affiliate Pro with Affilate groups and setting the rate of commission in the products.

I have set one group to receive a commission of 8.34% (I want them to get $5 from the sale) and the other group is set as 16.7% ($10 per sale)

However, the calculation is not working correctly. The plug seems to be multiplying the value or something as it is showing that commission owed from one sale is $600, which is 10 times the value of the sale!

Please help!

Also, is it necessary to have the direct affiliate or can I delete it?

Thanks

Naomi

  3. Hello again, I am sorry but I am still needing some assistance please. I have tried testing the affiliate signup form, and it is not letting people sign up. It is just refreshing to the same page. http://thebigdealbooksouthwest.com.au/affiliate-area/

I have also had a friend try with the same result.

How do I fix this please?

    Thanks

  5. Hi again – i have solved the issue of the affilate payment being multiplied by 10 πŸ™‚

I am still having some problems though, can you help me please?

I have set the product affilate rate as .0834 for group “registered” affiliates, which is working fine.

But with my group “fundraising” affiliates, the rate on my product is set as 0.167 When I test the link, the affiliate amount is coming up as $0

I can not figure out why this is happening? I thought that maybe the users in the fundraising group should not be in the registered group as well, so I removed them, but it made no difference.
    Can you help please?

    Thanks

    Naomi

  6. I have changed the percentage to .0834 and the calculation is still coming out incorrectly. I only have one sale for the 20th of May so far and the total for the affiliates is coming up as $1200???

    How do I fix this?

    Thanks

  7. Thank you for your reply.

So I need to set the rate as .0834 to get 8% commission?

I am still a bit confused – why do I have to set it as 0.10 AND 10? where do I do this?

    Thanks for your help

      Sorry,
      “0.10 NOT 10” πŸ™
You need to set 0.08 to get 8%.

      1. Thanks for that πŸ™‚ Are you able to help with the Group issue I am having? Thanks!

              Hi,
              please set:
in Affiliates->Woocommerce Integration: Set a default rate.
in Affiliates->Groups: Set a default rate foreach group.
Please test it and then tell us.
              cheers

              1. Hi I tested again, but it defaulted back to 8% instead of 16%
I thought this might be because the user is in both registered and fundraising groups, so I removed them from the registered group and tried again, but still got 8% instead of 16%

I am testing with affiliate ‘Helpful Hampers’
You can see there is $9.60 in rejected which is 2 x orders at 8%

                Thanks for your help

                  Hi,
I have tested with ‘itthinx’ affiliate and all seems to work fine (first referral as Registered user and the second as “Fundraising” user).
The problem is that your ‘Helpful Hampers’ affiliate is not associated with a wordpress user (in Affiliates->Manage Affiliates, in ‘username’ column you can see that associations) so default rate is used.
                  cheers

    Hi,
values are rates not percentages. so if you want to give 10% you must set 0.10 and 10.
Direct can not be deleted, it is used as default affiliate.
    cheers
