Campaigns not sending

Hi there we are trying to use this as a replacement for the Email Users plugin.
My client has a site that sells online courses and she wants to email users of specific courses that are in Itthinx Groups.
However when I test the Groups Newsletters plugin no email are being sent. We do not want to have users manually subscribe as she has thousands of users already in Itthinx groups.
See video https://www.loom.com/share/8a149dc3e5d14960864954c10fd8ac36?sid=a88647a3-5d4d-4ec2-86f2-2751970a6e22
Thanks,
Lawrence

Hey Lawrence,
Since WP Engine mentions that Cron is working properly, then it’s quite possible that you have an empty subscribers list.
Please go to Newsletters > Subscribers to review those without a user account and then also have a look at Users. If you used to have a different plugin for newsletters then it is quite possible that none is subscribed in Groups Newsletters lists.
However, it is not necessary to notify your users to re-subscribe, all you only need to do is import them again via Groups Newsletters.
Please also have a look at the documentation page for this process which is located here:
As for Mailgun, this is the mail service provider. What you need to ensure is not to use another plugin that can override wp_mail(), ie a plugin that also handles SMTP.
Kind regards,
George
Hi Lawrence,
Thanks for using our software on your site and for sharing your video.
I have noticed that your site is hosted on WP Engine. If this is correct, please have a look at the Troubleshooting section we keep here:
It is quite possible that the newsletter is not sent due to Cron issues. Please try to enable it as described above and let me know if everything is working properly afterwards.
Kind regards,
George
Spoke with WPEngine. They said they can’t see anything wrong on their end. The test email send fine from Groups Newsletters. Is there anyway we can disable the batch sending to test that out? We use mailgun on this site so it may not be necessary.
