Bug on notification

I have set the notifications to send the site manager and the affiliate maik fir every approved referral.
However..
I had a referral today which didn’t finish the purchase. But did click on checkout button and was transferred to the gateway of the credit card.
And the data on the referrals section on wp-admin was “pending” however the affiliate got a notification to his mail.
Even though I didn’t check the pending check box.
Is there a bug?

Hi Oren,
As I mentioned in my previous comment the default status for your referrals is accepted. Only if you set the status to pending and then decide which referrals should be accepted and which shouldn’t.
Regarding tier levels I’m working on a custom addon that will display the origin of the referral, if it’s from an affiliate or a tiered commission.

oh god. Is there a way to separate the incoming leads for tier 2 from sales made by the affiliate?
it makes a lot of mess both in notifications and on the table displaying earnings made by the affiliate.
using the shortcode [affiliate_referrals]
please update me if it is possible

Thanks for providing access.
I’ve checked your settings under Affiliates > Settings, Referrals tab and the default status for referrals is Accepted. This means that whenever a referral is recorded will be marked as accepted which results in sending notifications for new referrals.
