Automatic update unavailable

Hello,

I just renewed my licence for Affiliates Pro, but when I go to update in WordPress, it says ‘automatic update not available’. I have 65 affiliates so I don’t want to lose all their info – how do I update the plugin safely?

Thanks!
Fran

Hi Antonio, I sent you an email 2 days ago – I just wanted to check you received it? Thanks!

    1. Hi Fran,
The problem is that your installed version is too old. I have sent you an email.
      Kind Regards,
      Antonio B.

Thanks Antonio! I have installed the plugin, entered my Service Key & click saved.

Then I clicked ‘check for updates’ in the Itthinkx Updates settings, and it says there are 3 plugin updates. Underneath that, it says ‘You can click the button to force WordPress to check for updates.’, then finally a ‘check’ button. There are no other options.

When I go back to the main plugins page, it still says ‘automatic update not available’. What should I do next?

    1. Hi happifran,
Please send me dashboard admin access to antonio[at]itthinx[dot]com indicating this topic, I’ll take a look at your configuration.

Hi Antonio, thanks for your answer – please can you post a link to download the Itthinx Updates plugin? I can’t find it in your plugins list or in the WordPress plugin search area … where is it hiding? 🙂

    Thanks!

  4. Hi happifran,
Please check if your have installed the Itthinx Updates plugin and set the service key.
The most important option that you need to check is the “Delete all plugin data on deactivation”, this option must NOT be selected.
    Kind Regards,
    Antonio B.
