An unexpected error occurred. Something may be wrong…

Hi there,

We have the Affiliates Pro and tried to install the “itthinx updates” plugin and only got the error message “An unexpected error occurred. Something may be wrong with WordPress.org or this server’s configuration…”

Then we downloaded manually the “itthinx updates” plugin and activated it properly.

Now, when we attempt to install the “Affiliates Pro Woocommerce integration” at Settings/Integrations we keep getting the same error message “An unexpected error occurred. Something may be wrong with WordPress.org or this server’s configuration…”

However, in this case we cannot find a way to download manually the “Affiliates Pro Woocommerce integration” in order to installed it.

Please give us a way to download all the affiliates updates we should install.
Thank you!

  1. Same error here. Tried lots of times.
The plugin itthinx update (and key) is installed.
    Cannot install:
    1) Affiliates WooCommerce Integration
    2) PayPal plugin

Really like the Affiliatie Pro we bought yesterday, but the cooperation with other plugins is let’s say ‘not really good’ and very unpredictable… Well not very unpredictable, it doesn’t cooperate.

Would like to install the two plugins.

p.s.: all over the site of itthinx and some manuals all have not working links to the update plugin, took me an hour to find a working link.

    1. Hi Bas,

I’ll send them to you right away, sorry for the trouble – in some particular cases the update process can fail depending on the server configuration. It would be good to have a look at yours.

Please note that it’s better to post your own topics as we can get to those more quickly, i.e. via https://www.itthinx.com/submit-a-topic/ instead of commenting on an existing one even though it’s related.

      Cheers

  2. Hi Steve,

I’ve sent you the integration .zip file, for manual installation in your email address you used on checkout.
Regarding the error, it probably occurs because of a conflict but the message is so generic to be more precise on what is causing it.

    Kind regards,
    George
