all affiliate links go to 404 page not found

Hi,

The affiliate links used to work but now they are not.

We have Affiliate Usernames; these don’t work which was possible as we’ve had issues with it before but now even the ‘ugly’ url isn’t working.

It seems like it can only work with the /?=partners setup.

Also, is there a way to test if an affiliate link is working?

  1. That appears to have done it. I switched to kinoki saved it tested it worked. Changed it back to “mystore” then saved again and it now works with that name too. Hmmm.. Thanks,

    1. Hi,
sometimes it’s a cache problem or conflict with another page slug.
      cheers

  2. Nope did not resolve mine. I also have affiliates-by-name installed to. My affiliate urls look like this http://www.mydomain.com/mystore/affiliate_name. I am using the pretty option and with redirect checked or unchecked it still doesn’t work. My permalinks are not set to default either. Any thoughts?

    1. Please try the answer to @Mark

  3. Hi,

Thanks for your response however that didn’t resolve the issue.

    1. Maybe there is a conflict with the Affiliate URL parameter name, please try with a freak word (for example: kinoki) n Affiliates->Options.
      cheers

  4. Hi,
please try selecting “Redirect” in Affiliates->Options.
    cheers
