Affilites Pro Plug-In Interferring with WooCommerce “Order Successfully Sent” Notifications

Since installing the Affilities Pro Plug-In, customers who place orders never get confirmation that the order they submitted went successfully thru. This frequently results in the customer placing two orders, getting frustrated, then giving customer service a call. In the back end, I am able to resend customer invoices, but this has to return to being an automated feature.

I have tried both enabling and disabling email notifications in both the Affilites Pro Plug-In and our WooCommerce cart.

  1. Hi, thank you for your help. That was one of the first things I did, so I am confident that it is the Affiliates Plug-in. Our shop page can be found at: https://activaided.com/pain-relief/

    1. Hi Kelly,

      Please run a test following this procedure so we can see if there are any errors caused by conflicts with your current setup:

      1. Enable debugging for WordPress, in wp-config.php add/change these lines:

      define( 'WP_DEBUG', true );
      define( 'WP_DEBUG_LOG', true );

      2. Enable Affiliates Pro and the WooCommerce integration.

      3. Visit an affiliate link and make a test purchase.

      4. Deactivate Affiliates Pro and the WooCommerce integration, also disable debugging

      define( 'WP_DEBUG', false );
      define( 'WP_DEBUG_LOG', false );

      5. Please post the contents of the file wp-content/debug.log through pastebin and a link to it here.

      1. Thank you for the easy to follow list. I did all the steps then realized that I didn’t have a debug.log file. So I created one in wp-content then did the steps again, but the data isn’t going to the log I created.

        I do want to reaffirm though that upon deactivation, the notifications began to work again.

          Hi,
          not errors in your debug. You can send us dashboard admin access to support at itthinx dot com and we’ll have a look to settings (please indicate this topic in the email).
          cheers

          1. Hi Antonio,

            I apologize I did not do this before, but I completely uninstalled the woocommerce integration. Downloaded the file again, then installed and activate the integration. That seems to have resolved the problem.

            I had done it with affiliates pro, but no the integration previously.

            So we can mark this as resolved. Thank you again for all your help.

    Hi,
    You can try to disable only Affiliates Plugin and the integration and make a purchase to detect if the problem is with Affiliates Plugin.
    please give us an url to have a look.
    cheers
