Affiliates Welcome Email with links to Affiliate Area to Log In

Hi, I’ve looked through the forums but can’t seem to find out how to do this so apologies if I’ve missed something obvious but I’d really appreciate some help with this.

When new affiliates join, they receive a really short email titled ‘WordPress’ that simply has a password and a link to the log in page.

The first problem is the link directs them to the My Account log in page which is the one usually used for buying customers whereas I’d like them to go to my Affiliate area page where they can log in and see the resulting Affiliate Arera page we’ve created.

I know they are technically both the same but for log in purposes, but I’ve hidden my affiliate area page so no one can find it unless directed there, which I hope to be from the Welcome Email.

Also I’d really like to construct a decent email for new affiliates welcoming them to the program with various links to useful pages and also it might be nice to add some graphics and a decent title to the Welcome Email.

Can you please let me know the best or easiest way to do this.

I am not a programmer but I can manipulate code in WordPress and plugins if necessary.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.
