Affiliates Pro Spaces on sign up form are not clickable
—
by
Hi there – I am using the Affiliates Pro itthinx plugin with a Woocommerce site and have also merged in PMPro plugins as well. When a member signs up, we set the link to direct them to the ‘affiliate area’ page which tells them to join the affiliate program here and to Please fill in the required info in your profile first. The page recognizes their username and email but does not pull through their first and last name, and those blanks are not clickable so they can easily enter them in. Can you help me with this please? Here’s the link to the page this is occurring on: http://www.accessoryfanatic.com/affiliate-area/
How can we have the first and last name autopopulated on this page as well so they can just hit ‘sign up’ to get their affiliate link?
Thank you 🙂

Affiliates Pro Version 2.6.0
Where do I send the test account credentials? I don’t want them visible here…
thanks, You need to upgrade Affiliates Pro to run @itthinx’s code.
In your downloads page you have the latest version and the readme.txt file how to upgrade.
cheers
Hello,
I used Google Chrome’s “Inspect Element” on the text inputs on that page and I see the class is set to disabled. Maybe that helps? What in the configuration side of the plugin might set those to disabled?
Thanks!
Hi,
please give us a test account to have a look to the registration form. What Affiliates version are you using?
cheers
Hello,
I just copied all of the text from the editor window and pasted it into pastebin at the following location:

Thank you!
Hi Stephanie,
Thanks for that, the code you’re using is ok. If you are using a page cache please try to clear it so the page gets rebuilt, it might still have the old version if the cached version wasn’t automatically updated.
Also note that with the latest update 2.7.1 the form now allows the affiliate to fill in the fields directly on the form instead of having to go through their profile page first. If that’s still what you would prefer, you can simply remove the attributes from the form and leave the registration form shortcode like this:
[affiliates_registration]
Note that you must update to the latest version of the plugin for the fields to be editable directly.
Thanks Kento 😉 I updated the page with this shortcode and unfortunatey the fields are still showing and are not clickable. Is there something else that is interacting with this code possibly?
If the fields still show – and assuming that you are using the latest version of the plugin – please check if the quotes used to indicate the attribute values are plain double quotes. They should look like this
"
, not“
or”
.yes the quotes are in there correctly I just copied and pasted the code that you gave me.
Hi Stephanie,
I just tested the @kento code and it works fine. Please share your code ( please use pastebin.com ).
cheers
Hi Stephanie,
It would probably the easiest for you if you just hide these fields, you can adjust the shortcode like this:
[affiliates_registration first_name="hidden" last_name="hidden"]
As for registered users, they would need to fill in these fields on their profile field, as currently they can’t fill them in using the form by itself. I must admit that we should actually allow them to provide these details without having to go to their profile and then back to the form.
